Republic gold Peso 1898 Go-R MS68 NGC, Guanajuato mint, KM410.3. Free of marks over the satiny surfaces with swirling die polish that runs through the fields and bright orange-gold tone that caresses both sides. Available in lower Mint State grades, but perhaps unique for the entire denomination in this amazing near-pristine state. Presently the only certified example of any date to achieve the MS68 grade at NGC or PCGS. An absolute type collector's dream coin as a result!
