Ferdinand VII gold 8 Escudos 1810 LM-JP UNC Details (Excessive Surface Hairlines) NGC, Lima mint, KM107, Fr-44. A scarcer colonial piece, this example features an imagined bust of the new monarch in full uniform. While exhibiting a good deal of luster remaining along with an enticing golden-orange tone, it does have some excessive hairlines as mentioned in the details designation. Additionally, there is some strike-through visible behind Ferdinand's bust as well as lamination---an issue which tended to plague this coinage---on each side.
