Ferdinand VII gold 2 Escudos 1812 M-IJ MS64 NGC, Madrid mint, KM478, Fr-309. A fairly scarce one-year type, this example represents the first which we have offered. Currently the finest graded by NGC, it features blazing luster and brilliant surfaces, along with an enchanting orange-peel tone. An elusive, near-Gem specimen. A die scratch is noted behind the head of Ferdinand for the sake of thoroughness.
