Alfonso XIII gold Restrike 100 Pesetas 1897(62) SG-V MS66 NGC Madrid mint, KM708. The original 1897 dies were used by the Spanish mint in 1961 and 1962 to restrike this issue, and as such these are considered "official" restrikes. The restrike date is noted in two small stars on either side of the 1897. Exceptionally high grade for the issue, with just three others graded at the MS66 level by NGC and just one finer. To the best of our knowledge, this is the highest graded example ever offered at auction.
