Basel. Canton gold Duplone 1795 MS64 NGC, KM188, Fr-71. Rather conservatively graded in the opinion of this cataloger, with some adjustment marks across the central area of the reverse being its only real distraction. Exceedingly lustrous and flashy, with a warming tone near the devices, this alluring specimen is sure to captivate the viewer. A similarly graded (though clearly inferior) NGC MS64 realized a hammer of $1,400 in our 2015 NYINC auction (sale 3038, lot 36785).
