Colombia
Philip IV Cob 8 Reales 1662 NR-PoRS XF45 NGC, Nueva Reino mint, KM7.1, Cal-538, Restrepo-M46.28. A rare early issue of Colombia, struck on an uncommonly broad flan, with the full design inside the beaded circles on both sides remaining on flan, rendering the date (reading 166Z), mint, assayer, "Plus Ultra" motto, denomination and pomegranate motif all visible over the surfaces. Pleasing for the grade as well, only light wear is evident over the highpoints and no marks attract unnecessary attention. Certain to attract significant specialist attention as a result.
