Republic gold 10 Dukatu 1931 MS64 PCGS, KM14, Fr-4. Mintage: 1,239. A near-Gem offering of this endlessly appealing type--with its massive gold surfaces that are handsomely infused with honey-gold luster to its illustrative designs that have been struck up to the highest point. Other than a stray wisp here or there, the fields are exceedingly fresh for the designated grade, and an abundance of mint bloom provides a rich glow from the recesses. While not the finest-certified example of the date, a coin that manages to wow at every turn, making it exceptional in its own right.
