Charles VII (1422-1461) gold Royal d'or ND MS65 NGC, Orléans mint, 2nd emission, from 5 April 1431, Fr-303, Dup-455A. + KAROLVS • DЄI GR | A | • FRAИCORV : RЄX | O, crowned king standing facing holding two scepters on a field of lis, a pellet under "K" and an annulet beneath the mintmark "O" / + XPC : VINCIT : XPC : RЄGИAT : XPC : INPЄRA O, cross fleurée with leaves, a quadrilobe in the center; all within a quadrilobe with lis at points and crowns in spandrels; a pellet beneath the initial "X" and an annulet beneath the mintmark "O." Well-struck and amazingly well-preserved, this coin has achieved a staggering certified grade for this type. The Gem surfaces exhibit brilliant luster and are nearly absent of any post-strike handling.
