Commonwealth gold Unite 1651 MS61 PCGS, KM395.1, S-3208, North-2715. Sun mintmark. Quite nice for this often ragged issue. Considering how thin the planchet is, it is no surprise that there is a very faint waviness to it. Nonetheless, this coin is essentially without issues and free of any significant blemishes. A few scattered marks, but pleasing nonetheless. Of the 50 Commonwealth unites graded in total between NGC and PCGS of all dates, a mere 16 have achieved mint state status. Considering the selection bias seen by the grading services (in that their submissions tend to be high grade examples), it stands to reason that the coin on offer here ranks in the top bracket of available example of commonwealth unites.
