George II gold 5 Guineas 1753 AU50 NGC, Royal mint, KM586.2, S-3666. Some scattered hairlines and marks throughout, though a few more noticeable ones (in the obverse left field) appear to be adjustment marks rather than post-striking blemishes. Light red toning serves to highlight the legends and devices, so overall this is quite pleasant; it is only when one puts it under a loupe that you see why NGC decided to grade this coin AU50.
