William IV gold Proof Sovereign 1831 PR63 Deep Cameo PCGS, Royal mint, KM717, S-3829B, WR-261. An incredible example of this highly sought-after rarity, this coin has a few light hairlines in the field, as one would expect at this grade level, but which are mostly obscured by the highly mirrored fields. One more prominent mark is noted on the cheek of William IV, but this is downplayed by the deep frosting on the devices. The last time we sold a coin of this type in PR63 condition was an NGC PR63 Ultra Cameo in January, 2015, where it realized $15,275.
