Franz Joseph I gold 100 Korona 1907-KB MS64 PCGS, Kremnitz mint, KM490, Fr-256, Huz-2213. Mintage: 10,897. A supremely popular example that was struck upon the 40th anniversary of the King's coronation in Hungary, showing a pleasing combination of matte-like centers surrounded by outer registers that are filled with flash. Only a light amount of highpoint friction is noted across the satin-textured designs which are beautifully depicted throughout. Altogether fascinating in this Choice designation, perhaps even worthy of the Proof moniker, and deserving of a premium as such.
