Vittorio Emanuele III gold 100 Lire 1905-R MS61 PCGS, Rome mint, KM39. Mintage: 1,012. A sparkling representative with total eye appeal, showing rose-hued surfaces that present an equal amount of satin and flash, and bold central designs that retain desirable, highpoint frost. The semi-reflective fields are filled with micro abrasions, not as overtly distracting as the grade suggests, but typical for the issue and not at all unexpected on a gold coin of this incredible size. A wondrous selection in total and sure to engage the collectors of 20th century European gold.
