Zurich. Winterthur Shooting Festival gold Medal 1895 SP67 PCGS, by Georges Hantz & H. Wildermuth, R-1756a, Martin-1046, 76.30g, 45mm. Obv. City view of Winterthur within wreath, dividing female heads, with coat-of-arms below. Rev. Helvetia seated right on rooftop, holding branch with rayed Swiss cross above. Essentially flawless matte surfaces, with bold strike and bright golden luster. A tiny mintage of only 44 pieces. The first example of this exceedingly rare type we have seen and likely the finest extant.
