NORTHERN GAUL. Pictones. Ca. 100-50 BC. EL stater (6.53 gm). NGC Choice VF 3/5 - 2/5, scratches. Male head left, surrounded by beaded garland with tendrils to either side, double crescent below / Human-faced and helmeted horse galloping left, charioteer above with wreath, beaded tendrils around.  D&T 3665. A tad softly struck at top of flan. Very rare variety with head and chariot left!
