Head of Apollo right, hair bound with fillet, uncertain control mark (pennant or whip?) behind / Rider wearing Phrygian cap and holding palm frond on horse galloping right. Crawford 408/1b. Sydenham 858-859. RSC Calpurnia 24. A simply lovely obverse die, struck in living high relief, with lustrous surfaces.
