Provisional Government 8 Reales 1822 LM-JP MS62 NGC, Lima mint, KM136. The fields flanking the column are in a sense a "mini rainbow" of pastel colors and the reverse has the same characteristics, but more dramatic. On both sides, the toning is not super-intense, but the placement parallels that of a watercolor piece of art. The central designs that are not toned in beautiful colors are lead-gray and show stark contrast with bold detail, creating splendid views on both sides of the coin. Certainly one of the best we've seen in terms of overall appearance.
