Large Grouping of Afghanistan Archival Photographs This group of 59 archival photographs spans from the 1930s to 1970s. It starts with a single Kingdom Treasury Issue and runs into Bank of Afghanistan. Many of the pieces are dated, typically months before the issued date, and most feature serial numbers. The presentation from beginning to end points to a bank or printer employee that was assembling the photographs for bank records. Nearly all are mounted on cardstock and have been removed from another backing, presumably an archival book as one fully intact page would indicate. Included are photos of some of the following Pick numbers: Pick 19 50 Afghanis; Pick UNL, 1317 (1939) 50 Afghanis; Pick 21, 27A; Pick 29, 30, 31; Pick 39; And approximately 48 whole and partial design pieces of unissued or nearly as-issued designs on cards dated 19.7.65, 21.10.65, 10.2.67, 6.10.69, and 9.3.73.
