Australia Union Bank Bathurst Branch £1 ND (1854-60) Pick UNL MVR2asp Specimen Proof. Unlisted in the Krause catalog, this London based bank finally bowed out of the Australian banking scene in 1951. A portrait of Queen Victoria is featured in the upper left, surrounded by finely detailed engravings as expected of this Perkins Bacon design. A pencilled date of May 26, 1854 appears at lower left.
