New Zealand Reserve Bank of New Zealand £50 1.8.1934 Pick 157. This is arguably the most difficult note to find in all of New Zealand currency, and this marks the first time that we have had the pleasure of offering an example of this type. The design from the 1934 issue depicts the Kiwi bird at left, with the Maori chief at right. The example has been repaired, and the evidence of this is visible with a good light. As it appears through the holder, however, the note only seems to display good, honest circulation. The red inks remain bright, and the note presents in a rather pleasing manner, given its assigned grade of PMG Choice Fine 15 Net. HID08701242017
