Portugal Banco de Portugal 50 Escudos 6.2.1922 Pick 128. A restoration is seen down the center fold of the 50 Escudos, which is tied with only one other for finest graded by PMG. A few smaller restorations are seen along the edges, but are generally well concealed. We sold a similar example graded PMG 45 Net, also with repairs, for $4700 in our April 2017 Central States Auction. Today's example, which is perhaps a touch better, grades PMG About Uncirculated 50 Net. HID08701242017
