[+ ЄM]MA-NOVHΛ, nimbate bust of Christ facing, wearing pallium & colobium and holding book of Gospels; IC – XC in field to left and right / + IhSЧS / XRISTЧS / bASILЄЧ / bASILЄ , legend in four lines; floral ornaments above and below, all within dotted border. SBCV 1813. Good VF for type, better-than-average strike on large flan; smooth dark green patina contrasts attractively with lighter-colored deposits in recesses and fields.
