GEORGIUS · II · REX ·, Roman-style laureate and cuirassed bust of George II left / BRITAN-NIA · // 1740, Britannia seated left, shield bearing Union Jack at side, in right hand she holds olive-branch upright, in left a trident held transversely. SCE 3718. VF, dark olive-green patina with darker, brownish deposits in recesses, a few odd spots on reverse.
