This is a rare bank and the 20 Pesos and lower denominations were printed at the Columbian Banknote Company, Washington, D.C. There were two series of American Bank Note Company printed notes with 50 and 100 Pesos denominations. This earlier series has a fully engraved date. 3,000 issued notes were authorized for printing in October 1881. A striking Andean style vignette with brown tint. Brown back. Bright and sharp. Uncirculated.
