This private family company in Medellín operated as a bank and printed three denominations in this unusual size format. The notes were extremely rare until the 1990 ABN sale unearthed proofs, specimen notes, production sheets, and the original note models. There were 50,000 notes authorized for printing in October 1884. Series A. The blue face complements the lovely layout. At the left is Rosa Bonheur adapted equine vignette. Seated Agriculture at the center. Deeper blue back. Both proofs are choice. Uncirculated.
