COLOMBIA. República de Colombia. 10 Pesos Oro, July 20, 1915. P-324p. Archival Record Book Face and Back Proofs. Extremely Fine.
The highest denomination from the 1915 gold note series and a distinctive type. There were 200,000 notes authorized for printing in August 1915. No series, to be written in. Multi-color "$" in the face center. Vibrant orange-gold back. Several proof pairs and specimen notes in the 1990 ABN Sale have made this handsome type available to more collectors. There is subtle corner glue foxing on the back, otherwise both are vibrant. Extremely Fine.
From the Eldorado Collection of Colombian Paper Money.
Estimate: $300.00- $600.00
