COLOMBIA. (1649)-R Real. Santa Fe de Nuevo Reino (Bogotá) mint. Philip IV (1621-1665). Restrepo M20.27. VF-30 (PCGS).
3.36 grams. Plated in Restrepo. The shield is very well struck on the somewhat rectangular planchet, pleasantly toned with old multicolored cabinet toning. Most of the mintmark and all of the assayer mark are present. The bottom of 64 of the date is visible at the periphery of the cross side, though an old scrape crosses the 4. A handsome example of this scarce variety.
From the Eldorado Collection of Colombian and Ecuadorian Coins.

Estimate: $200.00- $400.00
