COLOMBIA. 1814-JF-Pn 8 Escudos. Popayán mint. Ferdinand VII (1808-1833). Restrepo M128.15. AU Detail - Harshly Cleaned (PCGS).
The rare variety with the Pn mintmark for Popayán. Probably once mounted, with matte-like surfaces showing even medium yellow color and hairlines from polishing. Some smoothing seems probable near DG on the obverse and at a few places along the reverse rim. Still very rare in any grade.
From the Eldorado Collection of Colombian and Ecuadorian Coins.
