Spanish New World. 1789 4 Reales die trial. White metal / tin. Carlos IV (1788-1808). UNC Detail - Environmental Damage. (PCGS).
Uniface obverse. Flashes of lustrous light silver gray persist, though much of the surface now shows dark charcoal colored surface corrosion. The detail remains exceptionally bold. The reverse shows an incuse bracteate type impression, and some earthen encrustation is present, suggestive of this piece's provenance. An historic rarity.
From the Eldorado Collection of Colombian and Ecuadorian Coins.
Estimate: $1000.00- $2000.00
