KM-8. A SCARCE coin in uncirculated, in PROOF the issue is nothing short of RARE. The territory was used primarily for the slave trade, which the British had abolished in 1807, leaving little in the way of commerce to replace it. The internal slave trade continued, with captives being forced to toil in local palm plantations. Deep original cabinet tone with much underlying luminescence. PCGS PROOF-64 Secure Holder.
