S-3883; ESC-288; Dav-106; KM-744. Obverse: crowned bust of Queen left: "VICTORIA DEI GRATIA BRITANNIAR. REG. F:D." in Gothic script. Reverse: inverted die axis, crowned cruciform shields emblems in angles. "TUEATUR UNITA DEUS ANNO DOM MDCCCXLVII". Edge with rose and crown stops "DECUS ET TUTAMEN ANNO REGNI UNDECIMO" in raised letters. Sharply struck with excellent definition of the minute details displaying beautiful old cabinet tone. Clearly an example which sat for a prolonged period of time undisturbed. PCGS PROOF-63.
