Y-58.2; Bit-74; Sev-4048; Uzd-2091. VERY RARE proof only issue for the date. The rarity is listed in Bitkin and Severin as "Very Rare" (four to nine issues known according to Bitkin) and Uzdenikov as "Rare". The mintage for this date is unknown with surviving examples highly sought after. Beautifully toned displaying lovely blue, purple and russet hues over flashy proof surfaces give nice contrast to the frosted cameo devices. We sold an NGC PROOF-64 Cameo in our August 2011 ANA Lot # 20676 that hammered down at $33,750. A spectacular example sure to excite even the most advanced collector of Russian Numismatics.
