KM-17a. Three year type struck in 0.900 fine silver. Tied for finest certified of the date at either NGC or PCGS. RARE in this state of preservation. We are unaware of any recent sales records of an example in this lofty grade. Sharply struck with excellent definition of the minute details and a nice cartwheel effect. Lovely envelope tone displaying a soft grey highlighted with a plethora of hues when tilted in the light. Good eye appeal sure to please. NGC MS-66.
