CANADA. Banque du Canada. 100 Dollars, 1935. BC-16. PMG Choice Uncirculated 63.
French Text. Osborne-Towers. A very elusive design, printed by the Canadian Bank Note Company, and one of only two pieces for the catalog number certified as uncirculated by PMG. Prince Henry, Duke of Gloucester pictured at left in a striking portrait. A muted brown hue serving as the touch of color on the face of the note outside the red serial numbers, and blue security dots. The reverse shows an all brown design with a seated figure at center with a standing child next to him. This vignette is meant to represent commerce. A very negligible spot on the bottom right margin, away from the design, likely the cause of the note not receiving an EPQ designation.
PMG Choice Uncirculated 63.
