Fr-19; KM-91. A SCARCE type of 1822-24 and harder to find than the SCWC indicates. Our last offering of this date (Ponterio sale 182, January 2014, lot 240) was better struck but mount removed. Somewhat of a flat strike on the obverse, but with plenty of detail on the reverse. Lustrous, lightly toned and attractive. NGC EF-45.
