Eimer-586; MI-587/230. By J. A. Dassier. Draped bust right, inscription: "JOHANNES BERNARD EQUES" around; Reverse: inscription within ornamental border: "ALDERMANUS / CIVITATIS LONDINI / MDCCXLIV". Barnard was Lord Mayor of London, 1738-1739. Minor debris amongst the devices with lovely smooth chocolate patina. NGC AU-58 BN.
