Conjoined busts of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert left with two dolphins below and trident behind; Reverse: Britannia seated at left conferring laurel wreath upon Industry with Africa, America, Asia and Europe looking on. Edge: "PRIZE MEDAL OF THE EXHIBITION. L. SCHOLLER & SONS. CLASS XII." At the time L. Scholler & Sons was a Prussian manufacturer of fine wool fabrics. Choice mahogany fields, disrupted on only the highest parts of both sides by traces of friction. Minor contact marks on both obverse and reverse mentioned for accuracy, but which are a common occurrence on massive pieces of this size. EXTREMELY FINE.
