Lambton Quay Wellington" around; Reverse: "Payable at J.W. Mears Collar & Harness Maker" at center in six-lines, "One Half Penny Token. New Zealand." around. Sharply struck with good definition of the fine details displaying a lovely chocolate and peanut patina at the centers with an attractive blue and green iridescent sheen when tilted and original mint red on both obverse and reverse around the edges. A magnificent example sure to excite the collector of Tradesmen tokens. NGC MS-63 BN.
