Geta AR Tetradrachm of Laodicea ad Mare, Seleucis and Pieria. AD 209-211. AVT•KAI• •ΓЄTAC•CЄ, radiate bust right / ΔHMAPX•EΞ•VΠATOC•TO•B•, eagle standing facing on ground line, head and tail left, with wings displayed, holding wreath in beak; star between legs. Cf. McAlee, Severan 34 (Caracalla); cf. Bellinger 67 (Caracalla); cf. Prieur 1166 (Caracalla); CNG 90, 1113 (same obverse die). 15.20g, 26mm, 12h.

Good Very Fine. The second known example, this obverse type being known at Laodicea from only this coin and the CNG 90 specimen.
