ANGLO-SAXON, Secondary Sceattas. Circa 720-725. AR Sceatt (12mm, 1.02 g). Series M, type 45. Mint in east Kent. Fantastic serpent-bodied quadruped right, with triple-forked tail right / Vine spiral counterclockwise. Abramson 61.10; SCBI 63 (BM), –; SCBC 805. VF, toned, some porosity. Rare.
