With dates "17 Jan. 1755, 6 Juli 1785, 21 Mai 1829, 27 Nov. 1838" on back arms of cross; Breast Star. 85mm across. Crowned silver monogram against blue, motto on red around. With maker's name "KNAUER" on flat pin. Choice Extremely Fine. With Diploma (fold splits) dated 17 January 1854, blind embossed seal to left; also included is a Grandduke Friedrich August II Anniversary Medal. Apparently received later by the Order's recipient. Silver, 51mm. Bare head left, rev. Psalm 118, v. 1 in wreath. Lovely old toning in prooflike fields. Brilliant Uncirculated. A Rare and lovely set and group.
