Great Britain India General Service Medal, 1895-1902. Victoria. On clasp: "Punjab Frontier 1897-98" (5077 - PTE T. RODGERS. 2: H.L.I.), engraved as is typical for Highland Light Infantry, though not in the distinctive H.L.I. style. The medal is also somewhat thinner, so likely issued as a replacement. Thomas Rodgers of Straban, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland enlisted Oct. 30, 1893. Having become medically unfit, he was discharged at Aldershot, May 4, 1901. Includes copy of his Short Service document. On riband. Some very light contact marks. About Uncirculated.
