CSA. T-28. $10. Sept. 2, 1861. Cr. 236. PF-9. No.59085. A14. Woman with urn. Train, right. J. T. Patterson, Columbia, S. C. Large numeral beneath the plate letter. Almost Uncirculated. This example has extraordinary eye appeal for a T-28, an issue that is fairly common in grades below Choice VF, but quite elusive in loftier states of preservation. Whether or not this note actually saw any circulation is impossible to say for sure. Viewed from the front it has the look of a Choice Crisp Uncirculated example. The printing is dark and bold. The paper is crisp. There are some paper wrinkles, (not folds), that are perhaps normal teller handling. All margins are complete. The signatures sharp. A partial impression of a printer's name appears in the lower left margin.
