El Banco Occidental, Republica del Salvador, an issued 1 peso, November 1907, series J, serial number 167641, black on green underprint, cherub holding oval frame, value in each corner, signature titles Gerente, Director, Gajero, reverse dark green, guilloche pattern, female head at centre. (Pick not listed, Stickney-Almanzar not listed for colour or date) the note is incorrectly categorised in Pick as S172p. This type is only recorded as a proof in a different colour. The note has a few pinholes along left margin, completely original, a very presentable very fine. An incredible find in issued form, excessively rare.
