El Banco Occidental, Republica del Salvador, a group of specimens comprising 50 pesos from the 189X-1919 issues, black on yellow and brown, purple, mauve, yellow and lilac respectively Bank at left, harbour at right, reverse coat of arms at centre flanked by denomination. (Pick 179s), an interesting group with each colour variation, first example is only the right half of the notes, the remaining notes have been split in half and re-joined, ink annotation in top margin, hole punched, and extremely rare set (4)
