Head of Alexander as young Hercules right wearing lion-skin headdress, paws tied at throat / [Α]ΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ, name vertically downwards behind throne on which Zeus Aetophoros sits left, right leg drawn back, holding eagle and scepter; in left field, complex monogram partially off-flan; beneath throne, EK monogram. Price 1794; Müller 1605. VF, lightly toned, sensitive portrait.
