Iraq Government of Iraq 100 Dinars L.1931 (1942) Pick 21b. King Faisal II is featured on this highest denomination of the fourth issue of the Government of Iraq. Two signature combinations were used for this 100 Dinars issue. Both feature Lord Kennet. The other signature here is the far less often seen Daoud Al Haidari. It has been some time since this signature combination has been offered at auction, one that Heritage has not handled until now. This top note features all of its excellent, original colors with strong appeal. This example is one of less than 10 known of this design, and with the grade being the best by far, fierce collector interest is expected. PCGS Very Fine 30, with restorations noted.
