Cuzco, Peru, silver 8R-sized medal, 1825, Bolivar / liberation of Cuzco. Fonrobert-9205. 42mm, 30.19 grams. Obverse with uniformed bust of Bolivar inside legend SIMON BOLIVAR LIBr. DE COLOMB. Y DEL PERU; reverse with native sitting in front of Incan ruins, radiant sun to left, legend EL CUZCO A SU LIBERATOR above, date 1825 between laurels at bottom. Nicely toned XF with hole at top, stamped by a previous owner with P.R.G. twice on the obverse flanking Bolivar and engraved with CARILLO at top on reverse.
