British naval figure-eight cutlass, ca. 1840. 1040 grams, 32" overall length, 27" blade length. Clean blade with dull point and one small chip in sharp side from use, small crowned-VR mark (for Victoria Regina) and broad arrow ordnance mark on hilt, solid steel-ribbed grip and figure-8 guard, nice patina overall without rust, fine pitting.
