William & Mary 5 Guineas 1692 MS61 NGC, KM479.1, S-3422, QVARTO edge. A spectacular Mint State 5 Guineas, one of only 3 of this type to enter the MS level of certification! Exhibiting extremely little in the way of actual wear, this example has only been held back from a higher certified grade through horizontal hairlines to the obverse. Besides this, the coin is just extraordinary and essentially fully-detailed; the superb strike has boldly rendered the low-relief engraving, creating a razor sharp level of detail to both the obverse and reverse.
